Let’s start at the very beginning. Jump in now, and you could be giving everyone you love hand-knits for the holidays! We will initiate you into the mysteries of casting on, knit, purl, and knitting in the round, so you can make your very own hat. Everything is included with this class- pattern, needles and yarn. $85.00

Basic Fingerless Mitts • Saturday, July 21, 1:00 – 4:00 pm
Learn two different methods for knitting small circumference projects in the round: double pointed needles and “magic loop” using a long circular needle. Then use your new found skills to whip up the Paddle fingerless mitts by Tin Can Knits.  Materials needed: 1 skein dk weight wool and about 20 yards in a contrasting color, double pointed or circular needles (34 inch or longer) in sizes US3 and US5. Prerequisites: Students must be comfortable with both the knit and purl stitch, and familiarity with increases is helpful. $45.00

Please note: There are NO refunds or store credit given at any time for classes with out of town instructors and special guest instructors. Your seat may be transferred to a friend if you cannot attend. Materials are not included with class fees unless specified. There is a 15% discount given on yarns purchased for the classes. Patterns are not included in this discount.
