 I am thrilled to announce that HRY will be carrying Quince & Company yarns. Quince & Co. is a located in Portland, Maine and manufactures their yarns from domestically sourced wool that is spun and dyed here as well. The yarns come in a lovely soft palette and have pattern support from some of today's top designers.

Westknits

This project is a great way to play with color without really doing any color work. Your yarn does it all! This is a great project to do with a Crazy Zauberball or Jojoland's  Melody, knit and watch the color changes unfold...it's magic, but not really. This is a super easy introduction to intarsia knitting and short rows. Pattern is available for purchase at HRY.

What combo will you knit?

Caution: This project is addictive and a bit like eating potato chips, you cannot knit just one wedge!

Knit Night • Every Thursday, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Knit Night is open to all...this includes all of you crocheters! Bring a project and join us at the table for some stitching and good company. New to town and need to make friends with other fiber fiends? Come on by!

 Classes

Intro to Knitting • Tuesdays, June 4, 11 and 18, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm 

Always wanted to learn how to knit? This is the perfect class! You will learn how to cast-on, knit, purl, decrease and knit in the round. At the end of the class you will have knit a cute, basic hat to keep your head toasty warm. $80.00 for the three classes, yarn and needles.

Color Work • Sunday, June 30, 1:00 - 4:00 pm

Have you always wanted to knit stranded color work, but were intimidated by knitting with two colors at the same time? Come to this workshop and learn how to make good color choices, knit carrying yarn in both hands, and make neat floats. Please be confident with how to cast-on, knit, purl and knitting in the round. The class project will be the honey-comb patterned cowl. Stop by to see it in person! This class will open the way to so many wonderful projects for you. $45.00 for the workshop (materials are not included in the fee . Please come in advance of the class to pick out the yarn you would like for your project. There is homework to do prior to class.)

Payment for classes is required at the time of reservation. Please stop in to the store to register or give us a call at 215-920-2603. In the case that class is canceled or if you withdraw at least 5 days before the class begins, you’ll receive a full refund. You’ll receive a 50% refund if you withdraw from the class within 5 to 3 days of it starting. There are no refunds for withdrawals made in 2 days or less in advance. Supplies are not included in class fee unless stated.
